Commissioned Paintings

In order to commission a painting by me, please contact me first, to discuss details and approval. I normally work in realism with oil paint on stretched canvas. I am selective on the work I do, because I do not want to paint anything I can not resonate my own emotions and pride in to. If you need any ideas of having me something paint, I will be having an exorable gallery of reference photos I eventually want to paint from coming soon. Please use the form below to pay for the deposit amount.

How my commission process works:

  1. I will accept or deny your commission idea or request.
  2. If accepted, I'll give you a rough timeline estimate of how long it may take along with how far back I am booked up.
  3. If the information I provide to you is okay, then you will make the deposit amount to cover my initial supplies and time.
  4. Once the deposit is paid and supplies are ordered, I will begin working on your commission.
  5. Once the painting is complete, I will allow you to see it finalized.
  6. If you accept the finished piece, then the final amount will need to be paid.
  7. Since I use oil, a general amount of time must pass for the paint to dry (usually a month).
  8. Once it's dry enough to be safe to handle, I will add a touch-up varnish for protection.
  9. I will then package it for protection and deliver.
  10. I use pre-framed canvases, included, so changing to a custom designed frame can later be handled by you at any time.
  11. After one year of completion and drying fully, I offer a full varnish, free of additional charge. Shipping/handling not included for the varnish process.
